There are a few ways to tell if your dog is having a headache, even though they may not display their discomfort in the same way we do.
Symptoms

3. Sensitivity to light
Additionally, a dog with a headache may show these signs:
1. Avoidance of being touched on or around the head
2. Disinterest in food
3. Possible avoidance of sunlight, disinterest in going outside
4. Anxious activity, such as pacing or constant licking
5. Keeping the head low to the ground
6. Frequent napping or rest
Causes
Dogs' headaches can be caused by the same things as humans, such as:
1. Allergic reactions
2. Cold or flu
3. Overheating
4. Excessive activity (too much or vigorous movement of the head)
